Valco Supro (1963)

An incredible 1 x 10 tube amp for the ages. This is one of Miner Street’s prized instruments, used on nearly every recording since 1999. Jimmy Page’s tone on Led Zeppelin 1 and 2 is said to have largely a combinatio of his Telecaster and an amp like this one. In combination with the studio’s 1965 SG Special, tones can easily range from CCR to AC/DC.

This amp was rebuilt by Sean Hurr in 2023, bringing back clean tones that we honestly didn’t know it could produce. It’s better than we ever knew it could be, and that’s saying a lot.
